“We are the first generation to feel the impact of climate change and the last generation that can do something about it.”
- Barack Obama.
MEET OUR ADVISORS

For Beach Liberia
This is an ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION organization in Liberia that educates Liberians about climate change, plastic pollution, taking sustainable actions, effects of environmental pollution. For Beach Liberia is also planting coconut trees in the nine (9) coastal counties of Liberia, to protect vulnerable coastal communities from, coastal flooding, erosion, storm surges, sea-level rise. For Beach Liberia have facilitated environmental awareness in more than 32 communities in Liberia.
WE ARE THE WORLD
What’s true for the world is true for Liberia. The food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe come from NATURE. Getting the environment wrong translates into more expensive and severe everyday challenges in Liberia which no amount of development will remedy.
OUR ADVANTAGE
The African Continent has been victim to deforestation, resource overexploitation and habitat destruction though Liberia is still blessed with immense natural resources and beauty. Liberia retains 40% of the UpperGuinea Forests of West Africa. Those forests are an important repository of Flora and Fauna, Animal Species and Biodiversity. Our rainforests are one of earth’s lungs and operate as an important Carbon Sink with global significance because they absorb carbon dioxide and release clean breathing oxygen to the world.
WHAT’S GOING ON
Because we don’t pollute like industrial countries doesn’t mean we’re free from Environmental threats. Deforestation is rampant. Pollution of our water, soil and air continues unabated. Our Coastlines are rapidly eroding from rising sea levels. Our Biodiversity is diminishing at an alarming rate as we cut down forests to make cooking fuel. Liberia is a food insecure country where changing rainfall and seasonal patterns are affecting agricultural productivity. Both urban and rural flooding episodes are more frequent. Our Capital city struggles daily with Waste Management while Monrovia’s ghettoes have become poverty traps where old and new diseases are growing to endemic levels. But none of these are doing as much damage or pose greater threats to Liberians than their own lack of information and understanding regarding their Environmental.

THE CHALLENGE
Liberia’s ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES fall into three (3) major categories. In the 1st category is the POLLUTION of our Water, Air and Soil resources. The 2nd category is the depletion of our NATURAL RESOURCES through Mining & Forestry operations. And the 3rd challenge is WASTE MANAGEMENT across the country. These combined challenges exert negative pressure on our quality of life in Liberia and diminish our ability to achieve sustainable development and prosperity.
THE SOLUTIONS
Demystify, Inform and Activate! Even though we’re experiencing the effects of rising sea levels there’s nothing WE in Liberia can do about the Environmental challenges in the U.S., China or Europe. But there’s alot WE can do in Liberia when our communities in the Diaspora and At-home come
together with solutions for these challenges. COVER OUR PEOPLE FOUNDATION provides the platform, the programs and the opportunities to equip and empower Liberians to be proactive in protecting and maintaining their outstanding ENVIRONMENTAL HERITAGE for their own security and benefit today, as well as for Liberia’s generations of tomorrow. Where do we start? We start with a Public Education Campaign.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION & PROMOTION
COVER OUR PEOPLE FOUNDATION will use both traditional and a variety of Social Media platforms to design, engage and distribute a variety of ‘Environmental Educational Series’ for Public consumption.
