OUR STORY
Everyday life unfolds in Liberia with unpredictable, difficult and precarious conditions. Time and opportunities diminish. And the crisis deepens when we lose friends and family because essential goods and services aren’t available. We’re caught between two fiercely competing circumstances. On one hand there are huge social, economic and developmental challenges. On the other hand there are limitations to our time, energy and personal resources. And that’s how and why ‘COVER OUR PEOPLE FOUNDATION’ emerged to bridge the yawning gaps between Liberia’s most desperate challenges in EDUCATION, HEALTH, TECHNOLOGY and the ENVIRONMENT. It’s a grassroots-focused, citizens-led response whose goal is to prepare and equip Liberians to lead better lives by bringing people together through innovative interventions.
OUR MISSION
Liberians have a birthright to be the most successful stakeholders in their country by developing their own Human Resource capacity. We will create opportunities by building the Partnerships, platforms and Programs between home-based and Diaspora Liberians for investments in fundamental Human Resources as the basis of our prosperous and productive Liberian dreams of the future.
OUR SOLUTIONS
Liberia lags way behind by every important measure of modern societies. Our programs and partnerships will fill the gaps between the Public Sector and the Private Sector to produce faster, more efficient and lower cost solutions. We will PROTECT and MAXIMIZE the benefits of Liberia’s incredible and virgin natural ENVIRONMENT by investing in the Education and Human Resource Development to create economic opportunities, innovation and sustainable livelihoods for Liberians. We’ll duplicate this approach in the
HEALTH, EDUCATION and TECHNOLOGY sectors.

Our strength grows from the fact that we are Liberians who bring together decades of varied experience and achievements acquired over several continents. Our combined skillsets in the Public and Private sectors, Banking & Finance, the Law, Diplomacy, Medicine, Culture and Business give us the tools, compassion and a unique innovative vantage point to implement the ‘Cover Our People’ Vision.
OUR FUTURE
Before getting to the point of tall buildings, manicured parks, abundant renewableenergy, clean water, agricultural fields, sweeping highways and spaghetti flyovers,efficient public transportation, low cost housing estates, gated communities, coastal resorts, modern well-equipped schools and hospitals with highly trained professionals, EVERY Liberian has to do VERY HEAVY lifting. As individuals this vision is daunting. But it’s attainable when Liberians are a united force. And that’s why ‘Cover Our People Foundation’ reunites Liberians under one umbrella to equip them with the important tools and skills in Education, Health, Environment and Technology to help them build the Liberia of their own dreams. Liberia has a future when we put Liberians first.
